Polocorp Inc. is excited to break ground on its newest community development, VIVA Towns, located in the heart of Kitchener. Contributing over 100 units with the potential to accommodate over 260 people, this development will provide much-needed housing for the region with a range and mix of unit sizes. With Waterloo Region expected to grow by more than 200,000 residents by 2031, VIVA Towns will provide homes for individuals and their families.

The provincial government has a mandate to build 1.5 million homes in Ontario by 2031. Combined with the Region’s expected population increase, the VIVA Towns development brings it one step closer to accommodating population growth and addressing the housing crisis.

Offering homes from the high-300s, VIVA Towns provides attainable prices that are nearly half of the regional average. While affordable homes are greatly needed in the region, so is the need for community. VIVA Towns feature a variety of conveniences steps away from Iron Horse Trail, VIVA Towns offers a blend of nature and cityscapes and connects residents to local parks, grocery stores and other modern amenities.
Scheduled for occupancy in Fall of 2025, the VIVA groundbreaking is not only a major milestone for Polocorp Inc., but with its completion, VIVA Towns will add another vibrant and beautiful community to downtown Kitchener while providing vital housing during the ongoing shortage.
